This workshop aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of principles of hemodynamics and its clinical applications in practice. Understanding the principles of hemodynamics is essential for accurately assessing and managing patients with critical illness, for guiding treatment decisions, and optimizing patient outcomes. This workshop will serve as a platform for participants to deepen their understanding of hemodynamic monitoring techniques, interpretation of hemodynamic data, and its implications in clinical practice.

Objectives

• To provide participants with a comprehensive overview of hemodynamics, including key principles, parameters, and their significance in patient care.
• To familiarize participants with various hemodynamic monitoring techniques, such as arterial pressure monitoring, point of care ultrasound, echocardiography, and ultrasound-guided vascular access.
• To facilitate interactive discussions and case-based learning to apply hemodynamic principles in clinical scenarios through simulation.
• To promote a multidisciplinary approach by bringing together healthcare professionals from various specialties, including cardiologists, intensivists, anesthesiologists, and pediatricians.
