PAEDIATRIC DERMATOLOGY WORKSHOP
Paediatric dermatology is a major subspecialty in paediatrics. Around 25-30% of Paediatric OP comprises of dermatology cases. There is a lack of adequate exposure in paediatric dermatology in postgraduate training.
A dermatology workshop will be extremely useful for practicing paediatricians to revise and update their knowledge of paediatric dermatology.

Dermastars: Paediatric Skincare Workshop
OBJECTIVES:
- To diagnose and manage common paediatric dermatoses
- To understand the do's and don'ts in paediatric dermatology

- Neonatal dermatoses
- Superficial bacterial and viral infections
- Superficial fungal infection and infestations
- Acne, Dandruff, and Seborrheic dermatitis
- Pigmentary disorders and drug reactions
- Hair and nail disorders
- Hands-on training in bedside procedures in paediatric dermatology
EXPECTED RESULTS:
Improved knowledge, attitude, and practice of paediatric dermatology by paediatricians. A paediatric dermatology workshop will evolve to be an innovative venture for the Indian Academy of Paediatrics, with high demand from fellow paediatricians.
